Anca Salagean
PhD Student, University of Bath
Anca’s main research interests are embodiment, body perception and immersive technologies. Under the supervision of Prof. Danae Stanton Fraser and Prof. Darren Cosker, her PhD, which is part of the Bristol+Bath Creative R+D programme, will focus on embodiment in immersive environments.
In collaboration with the CREATE lab and CAMERA studio at the University of Bath, she will investigate the factors that underpin and modulate the sense of embodiment in relation to virtual avatars and the behavioural, attitudinal and cognitive effects of this phenomenon.
